Guess the Ducks competition T&Cs

T&C – Guess the ducks

  • The Promoter is Serco Leisure Operating Limited (company number: 04687478), Lancer House, 38 Scudamore Road, Leicester, LE3 1UQ
  • There are two prizes that are part of the “Guess the ducks” competition
    • 1st Prize: X10 Swimming Lessons
    • Runner up/second prize: X1 pair of Swimming goggles
  • The “Guess the ducks” offer is available to everyone over the age of 18
  • “Guess the ducks” competition can be entered by registering at the centre
  • X10 swimming lessons would entitle the winner to free x10 swimming lessons if the winner is a non-member, if the x10 swim lessons prize is won by a swim lesson member then the winner will get x10 swim lessons discounted from the membership cost
  • X10 swim lessons does not entitle a winner who is a non-member to swim membership
  • Second-place winner is entitled to one pair of swimming goggles
  • Swim lessons can only take place at Farnworth Leisure Centre, Horwich Leisure Centre, Sir Jason Kenny Centre, and Westhoughton Community Leisure Centre. Winners at Leverhulme Park Community Leisure Centre need to visit any one the above-mentioned centres to claim the swimming lesson prize
  • The winners of “Guess the ducks” competition must claim their prize within 3 months of winning the prize
  • The “Guess the ducks” runs for 2 weeks from XX February - XX February 2024
  • Not applicable to Serco Leisure Operating Ltd employees
  • To be chosen as a winner of the Swim Lesson prize, the lead entrant must be over the age of 18 or have the authority to represent the winner, having legal supervisory status for the minor they want to gift the prize to (e.g., parent, carer, legal guardian etc)
  • By entering the competition, you are agreeing to receive marketing and other communications from Bolton Community Leisure and the Promoter regarding the prize. You can choose to withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us in writing
  • We reserve the right to exclude entries where all valid information has not been entered at the point of entry
  • Winner will be chosen based on whoever guesses the exact number of ducks, in the event that no one guesses the right amount, the nearest entrants guess will be selected as a winner
  • In case there are multiple entrants who guess the right amount of ducks then the winner will be chosen at random
  • Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification
  • The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes
  • If a winner rejects their prize, cannot be contacted, or their entry is invalid or in breach of these terms and conditions, the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the promoter shall be entitled to select another winner by random draw
  • All entrants are advised to regularly check the website for any changes to these terms & conditions which may become necessary for operational reasons
  • The winners are responsible for expenses and arrangements not specifically included in the prize, e.g., travel to the centre, gym clothing, drinks etc
  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms & conditions at any time without prior notice and any amendments will be published on this web page
  • The promoter shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its privacy policy and in accordance with data protection legislation. By entering the competition, you agree to the collection, retention, and usage of your personal information to process and contact you about your competition entry (Data policy can be found on leisure centre websites)
  • Serco accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, or disappointment incurred or suffered by the entrant as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize
  • Offer may be withdrawn or amended at any time and without notice

Management reserves the right to cancel or refuse an individual’s entry to the centre or refuse to give the prize reward to the winner with justified reason
