Come and take a look around, try various activities and meet our fantastic team – they will be on hand to answer all of your enquiries.

You don’t have to be a member of our leisure centre or have visited us before to get involved in our Big Open Weekend, so why not bring your friends and family along too?

Big Open Weekend hours:

Saturday 11th October: 9am - 4pm

Sunday 12th October: 9am - 4pm

Kids Activities

Across the weekend, we will be running a range of activities including free swimming for all children across Bolton, there is no need to book just register at reception on arrival.

Sunday

  • Family Fun Swim Session : 1pm - 3pm

Swimming Lesson Taster Sessions

Swimming lesson taster sessions will be running across the weekend in our pool. Ages 0-8 years+

Sunday: (Stage 2-5)

  • 8:45am - Stage 2
  • 9:15am - Stage 3
  • 9:45am - Stage 4
  • 10:15am - Stage 5
  • 11:15am - Stage 2
  • 11:45am - Stage 3
  • 11:45am - Stage 4
  • 12:15pm - Stage 5

Family Fun Swim

Make a splash with the whole family! Enjoy pool games, floats, and quality time together in a safe, supervised environment.

Running both days from 1pm to 3pm – don’t miss the fun!

Casual Swim

Fun for all the family! Enjoy a relaxed swim together, splash around, or practice your strokes at your own pace.

Running both days in the main pool:

Fitness Activities

Bring a friend or family member along for free to our Big Open Weekend. No need to book in advance, just make sure they register at reception on the day.

Across the weekend, we will be running a range of activities including free gym sessions (12+ years) for all children across Bolton, there is no need to book just register at reception on arrival.

Join our Boot Camp Class – Dress-Up Edition!

Get ready to sweat in style and show off your best costume – there’s a prize for the best dressed! A fun, high-energy workout with an extra twist. Don’t miss it!

FITIN30 FITIN30 is a 30 minute small group training circuits based class either held on the gym floor or in the studio - Circuit classes are high energy and fast-paced workout that can help tone your body, shed fat and involves moving your way around different exercise stations performing each exercise as many times as you can in a set amount of time, with rest periods between or at the end of each full circuit completion.
Gym Area - Fitness Diary Book
Tuesday 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Chair Based Aerobics Chair-based Aerobics classes are a great way to get you exercising without the fear of falling. Seated exercise is good for mobility function, strength training and social inclusion
Court 4 Book
Tuesday 6:15 PM - 7:00 PM
Aqua H.I.I.T A Refreshing alternative to traditional aerobics, with minimal impact. The class offers both cardiovascular and muscular gains by using natural resistance of the water.
Teaching Pool Book

Swimming For All The Maximum number of children a adult may supervise are as follows: Small Pool: 1 Adult to 2 children under the Age of 8. Main Pool: 1 Adult to 1 child under the age of 4, 1 Adult to 2 children 4-7 year's old.

Core Blast Core Blast is a challenging workout which targets your abs, back and midriff. A strong core can help with balance, posture and overall strength. When you have a strong core, everything improves, like your co-ordination, balance and flexibility
