Is the centre suitable for access by disabled users?

Yes – access to facility via an automatic door with a lift available to the gym on the second floor. Guide dogs are welcome within the facility.

Is there car parking available?

Yes, a car park is available which is free of charge to all customers of Leverhulme Park Community Leisure Centre

Do I have to be a member to use the leisure facilities?

No, you do not need to be a member to use Leverhulme Park Community Leisure Centre . Activities are available on a ‘pay as you go’ basis as well as value for money membership packages.
To book for activities, such as workout classes, racquet sports and swimming lessons you simply need to become a Booking Member. This can be achieved by contacting reception via the telephone or during your visit to the leisure facility or simply on-line by downloading the Booking Customer Application Form and emailing the completed version to leverhulme.bolton@leisure.serco.com

Are there lockers available?

Yes, the fitness and health suite lockers accept £1 coins and are returnable. There are coin locker keys to purchase at reception to ensure you will always have access to locker facilities each time you visit Leverhulme Park Community Club.

I have never been to a gym before.

If you have experienced a recent developments in medical conditions requiring medication or have a long standing condition which could be affected by physical please consult with your GP. Your next step would be to ring Leverhulme Park on 01204 334272 to book an induction. Please wear comfortable clothing - trousers, t-shirt and shoes with a sturdy grip (preferably trainers). Avoid jeans.

Are the gym instructors qualified?

Yes, all gym instructors are qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 Fitness Instructor.

What clothing does my child need to wear for the holiday activity club?

It is recommended that your child wears clothing that is relevant to the activity they will be taking part in. For example tracksuit, trainers and t-shirt for multi-sports.

Do children need to bring anything with them to the holiday club?

Packed lunch, pocket money, any medicine or inhalers.
