Workout Classes


 

NEW Outdoor bootcamp class

This fun class varies session to session. You’ll use battle ropes, tyres, kettle bells, ladders and much more. Suitable for all fitness levels aged 16+. Don’t forget to dress for the weather! Takes place on the grassed area in front of the leisure centre.


Workout classes are a really good way to help you lose weight, tone up or simply feel great. And working out in a group is proven to help people stay motivated and keep going. Where's your next endorphin rush coming from?

Class Descriptions


Aerobics
A cardiovascular and toning workout session suitable for all levels. Includes a combination of moves for you to perform at your own pace though alternative high or low impact moves. A great way to burn calories and increase fitness levels.

Aqua Aerobics
A refreshing alternative to traditional aerobics, with minimal impact. This class offers both cardiovascular and muscular gains by using the natural resistance of the water.

Battle Blast
All round programme including weights, battle ropes, kettle bells and body weight exercises . Excellent for stamina building, fat burning and toning. An energetic and varied class for all fitness levels.

Circuits
All round programme including weights and cardiovascular workouts. Excellent for stamina building, fat burning and toning, A circuits takes fitness to a higher level. An energetic and varied class.

HITT
High intensity interval training class combining aerobics, strength, endurance and core stability. You will boost your strength, endurance and core stability as well as burning loads of calories.

Legs Bums & Tums
The class involves doing choreographed exercise based on the thigh and stomach area. It will tone and shape your body.

Pilates
Loved by dancers and celebrities alike, it’s a system of slow precise exercise to stretch and strengthen muscles.

Yoga
This class focuses on physical posture and alignment and is designed to improve strength, balance and flexibility. It includes relaxation to help ease stress. These classes are open to all levels.

Zumba
Dynamic mix of salsa, rumba and merengue set to the inspirational rhythm of Latino music. It is impossible not to shimmy and shake the pounds away.
