Bolton Community Leisure launches free swimming lessons!

Bolton Community Leisure Trust has launching an initiative to provide free lessons for six weeks to 3200 adult residents across the Borough. The initiative is a partnership between the Trust, The Amateur Swimming Association, Bolton Council and Bolton Primary Care Trust. The project aims to provide six one-hour lessons for non-swimmers or weak swimmers to improve their water confidence.

To qualify all you have to be is:

• A Bolton resident
• An adult aged 16-99
• A non-swimmer or weak swimmer
• Available to complete six one-hour adults only lessons at one of Bolton’s six swimming pools.

The six swimming pools in Bolton have allocated over 200 hours of lane space from 7am-10pm Monday to Sunday to provide a range of times to suit all preferences.  But places are strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
