What will you need to do to get the NPLQ?
Every candidate, prior to commencement of training for the NPLQ must:

Was PE your favourite subject at school? Do you see yourself working in leisure management, sports coaching, or a profession related to health and fitness?
This two-year full-time course for 16-19 year olds provides a solid understanding of working in the leisure, sports and fitness industries, and will equip you with the skills and knowledge required to pursue a career in the sports sector. As part of the course you will complete an internship at Bolton Leisure Centres one day per week.

Many learners progress to university to study a sports-related degree. Alternatively, as the course develops both your academic knowledge and your practicalskills, combined with essential work experience, you could progress directly into employment in the leisure, sports or fitness industries.
