In January 2009 the Fitness Suites at Farnworth Leisure Centre underwent an impressive refurbishment. The newly decorated areas are also now home to brand new state of the art gym equipment supplied by Life Fitness. This gym is also ideal as an introduction to health and fitness for those that have never been to a gym before.
In January 2010 the swimming pool , reception & pool viewing area re-opened after major refurbishment.
Farnworth Leisure Centre has a strong commitment to health and safety, quality and carbon reduction and has recently received a highly commended Quest score and awards for carbon reduction.
